Exodus 20:8
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Here's our muffin tin representing the 4th Commandment.
There's a beautiful local church not too far from our house that has a very striking red roof. I mean, it's super bright red but I like it. I think the roof is made out of some type of metal so it's really shiny too. Anyhow, I was thinking of that church when I made this pancake.
Here's my tiny sketch surrounded by pancake squirt bottles.
My muffin tin had raisins, raspberries and chocolate bunny crackers. As usual, this was for an after school snack.
My son stuffed raisins inside the raspberries. I should have tried one to see if it was a good combination.
My kids like to divide up the pancakes and make their own creations with them...I'm all for that! Bring on the creativity!
This was my daughter's version.
This is what my son came up with using pieces of the church pancake.
Speaking of such, have you ever seen my very first muffin tin? It was created all in snowman parts that my kids built with. Want to see the start our muffin tin snacks HERE ......that seems like a long time ago. It will be 2 years in January!
Blessings,
Jenni
Love your pancake art! And I love how the church is made of different pieces so your kids can recreate the buildings and build different things! The church pancake looks beautiful :)
